  • Bubble Hut Doggy Spa operates under the General Data Protection Regulations, so any information collected that is necessary for your dog’s Grooming Records will be kept securely and will not be shared with any third parties unless with your consent (for example in taking your dog to a vet for emergency treatment), or in the case of abandonment where relevant authorities will be involved.

  • Your name, address and contact details will be collected and stored manually during the initial grooming consultation, together with details about your dog, his/her health and medical history, your registered vet and an emergency contact to use if we are unable to contact you.

  • You can decide to withhold certain information (such as your email address for example) if you wish 

  • We will use your contact details to send text or email reminders of appointments and to inform you, by email, of any news or special offers from time to time (you will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving these)

  • Any information that is stored electronically (such as email addresses on a computer and telephone numbers on a mobile phone) will be kept securely and not shared with any third parties.

  • During grooming, photographs and videos may be taken of dogs and these may be published on our website, used in advertising and social media or displayed in the grooming salon. If you do not wish this to happen with your dog, you will be given the opportunity to decline participation.

  • Payments are currently only taken at the time of each appointment by cash, or you can elect to pay by bank transfer within 24 hours if you prefer.  No financial data is collected or held by Bubble Hut Doggy Spa at any time.

  • You have the right to request to see any of your personal information and records we hold and to ask for that information to be deleted or destroyed securely.

COOKIE POLICY & INTERNET DATA

  • Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enable pages to display faster and features such as a shopping basket etc to be remembered when applicable. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services.

  • We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate analytical data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

  • You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

  • If you enter and submit your details on any of the contact forms on our website, this information will be stored electronically for the purposes of contacting you and providing any information you have requested.

  • We do not currently take any form of on-line payment so financial details are not collected or stored in any way.

  • Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
